1. Who operates SayTake
SayTake operates SayTake. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@saytake.com.
2. Data we process
We process account details, profile preferences, subscription status, practice scenarios, transcripts you approve, generated feedback, scores, usage counters, and limited product events such as checkout or practice completion. We do not put transcript content into product analytics.
3. Microphone and audio
In this version, SayTake does not upload or retain an audio file. Chrome or Edge may send microphone input to its speech-recognition service under the browser provider's own terms. SayTake receives the resulting text transcript. You may edit that text before requesting analysis.
4. Why we use data
We use data to authenticate users, provide and personalize practice, generate feedback, process subscriptions, enforce fair-usage and security limits, troubleshoot failures, and understand whether the core product flow works.
5. Service providers
Supabase provides authentication and database services. Stripe processes payments and stores card details; SayTake does not receive card numbers. Replicate processes transcripts for AI feedback using the configured model. Hosting and browser providers may process technical request data.
6. Retention and deletion
Account data, transcripts, and feedback are retained while your account exists unless a shorter period is required for security or law. Delete an individual session from History or permanently delete the account in Settings. Billing and transaction records may be retained where legally required.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use essential authentication cookies and store the selected interface language. Local development mode may keep demo data in browser storage. We do not use transcript content for advertising.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Contact us using the address above. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Security and changes
We use access controls, signed webhooks, server-side entitlements, and usage limits. No online service is risk-free. Material policy changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
